STDs and giving oral sex

Hello Community,

I gave oral sex for the first time on Friday night to a guy (first guy). I had his penis in my mouth for about 10 secs and then tried to suck it for about 15 secs (which was about 4 licks/sucks). I took it out and then we went back to deep kissing for a while for about 20 minutes. Would I be at risk for any STDs from this. I do have a sore throat right now I just want to be sure. He did not ejaculate into my mouth.

It is rare. Because over 90% of men would get symptoms of penial gonorrhea so most likely the other guy didn't have it. Then couple that with even if he did have it transmission takes place I think something like 5% of the time. I see no reason to test, even if it has lasted several minutes.

Would anyone hapoen to know if oral gono occurs alot or is rare? My oral sex occurance was super quick so I am wondering if tested is needed at all. I do have allergies so i am greatly assuming its that (and the fact my room os severely dry with the Ac on at night). Will go and get tested next monday to give it time.

A test can be done in about 5 days after contact.
It may heal on its own

Okay i will definitely monitor. I still have a sore throat now and am wondering if it is too early to go and get tested for oral gono? Also i read that if it is, it will heal on its own. Is that true?

Hi

You describe a low risk encounter for syphilis, and gonorrhea.

Its pretty hard to get oral gonorrhea.   Its the STD consistent with your symptom of a sore throat.  I am not saying you have it, in fact I think you didn't get anything from your encounter described above.   If your concerned see a physician to get your throat swabbed.
