Second opinion

I recently saw my doctor about a gential problem I have been having.  On off for the last 2-3 months I have had a problem with soreness of my foreskin, red bumps to red rash on head of penis, larger than normal smegma build up, worse than normal smell, frequent urge to urinate with normal regularity( as i go go the normal amount and normal color, but when i have urinated i still feel i need to urinate and can no longer force anything out).  My doctor ordered a blood test for the works and a urine test that I am still awaiting results for.  He seems to think that everything but the urination is just iritation do to soap or sexual stimulation and is awaiting the urine test to figure out the urination problem.  I have been with the same partner for a year and have only started to have these problems in the last three months.  I had std tests done a year ago and all came back negative.  Like i said the symptoms come and then seem to get better after a few days then they come back strong again.  A&D ointment seems to help the itch a bit.  I was on a course of Amoxicyillin a month ago for what the doctor diagnosed was gasitis which cleared up by the end of the 10 day course.  Any second opinions would be appreciated. thanks

Hmmm even though you've been with your partner for a year you could have had an STD for that period of time and your symptoms appeared 7 months after... I suggest you and your partner get a full STD panel to learn both your status.

But this could be other things so you need to work with your doctor to figure this out... it may take a few visits .

also below is a link with all the testing information you need... make sure you tell your doctor that you want done...

Good luck  hope you feel better
