Seemingly Uncurable penis infection

I've had what appears to be balantitis for almost 3 years.  I've visited multiple doctors multiple times.  Its basically red and sore, sometimes with small red dots, as well as small lacerations or ulcerations on my foreskin.  With increased sexual activity it tends to get a lot worse.  My hygiene isn't the issue.  Ive tried several different prescription creams and ointments/anti-fungals from the doctors, which seem to suppress the infection to some degree, but never to actually cure it.  When i run out of said cream/ointment, the symptoms always return in full force.  ANY suggestions?  Its just ridiculous.

Best I can say is keep working with your Dr's. I can't really give any treatment advice due to not knowing what you have and not being a Dr.
