Girlfriend just tested positive for gonorrhea

Yesterday my girlfriend of 7 years tested positive for gonorrhea.  I'm setting up an appointment to get tested today.  But in the meantime we are of course very curious to see how she/we/I got it.

About 6 weeks ago she had unprotected oral sex performed on her by a lesbian friend at a party we were both at.  She says that was the only sexual experience she has had with someone besides me in the 7 years we've been together.  I believe her both because I trust her, and also because we are together so much of the time that it would be pretty hard for her to find time to be with someone else.

The doctor at the clinic told her that it was virtually impossible for her to have received gonorrhea from the lesbian contact, and told her straight out that I was probably cheating on her, which is not the case.

So in my mind it leaves three options, and I'm just trying to figure out what is the most likely.

1) She got it from our lesbian friend, who is fairly promiscuous and also had a new lip piercing that might have been bleeding a bit.

2) She had a false positive

3) One of us got it through some other non-sexual contact.  (GF is convinced she got it from a dirty NYC toilet seat.)

Any comments would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Grady

I know that you can get it from oral.  I dont see why she couldnt of gotten it from the lesbian.  Gonorrhea from what I understand can live in the mouth, vagina, penis, and anus.

How long could someone have it before the symptoms show up?  IO know seven years is a long time but could GradyTripp have had that long and gave it to her?

Gonorrhea is spread through sexual contact only.  She got it by having sex with someone who was already infected with gonorrhea.  If you haven't been cheating, I would question her actions.
