Pharyngeal Gonorrhea

Quick question....I exchanged oral sex with a female (I am male) about 4 months ago.  No real symptoms to-date.  I had all the blood and urine samples done at 12 weeks and all were negative.  I recently (almost 4 months post-incident) had my throat swabbed for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia...just in case.  The test was a throat swab test by NAAT Aptima TMA?  Both came back negative - I'm just wondering if anyone knows how accurate the throat swabs are?  I know the docs say the urine tests are great but haven't heard much on these...thanks.

It is but men and women get it from giving oral to a man. Very very very rare for a man to get it from a woman.

I thought Gonorrhea is the one primary oral STD I was at risk for by giving cunnilingus to a woman?

You had no real risk for an oral STD like that and your tests prove that.
