Syphilis results have not improved

I was diagnosed Syphilis on 21st April 2018. I live here in China and my discussions usually with doctors are limited to Google translator. Since then i am getting pencilin injection every week and had 9 injections so far.

21/4/18 :
TRUST (+);
DD TRUST (1:64);
TPPA (+);

My wife got tested and she was negative, we are in relations and she is pregnant.
i got four shots as per instructions form doctor and got tested again on 26th May 18;

26/5/18 :
TRUST (+);
DD TRUST (1:8);
TPPA (+);

again, my wife was negative and i was positive.
There seems improvement but doctor asked me to take four more shots. on 7th July 18, i got tested again after 5 more shots:

7/7/18 :
TRUST (+);
DD TRUST (1:64);
TPPA (+);

Which shows there hasn't been any improvement from 26th May to 7th July..although i regularly got the shots. Today dr. asked me to take couple of more shots and he said it can take couple of months to treat it.

My problem is language barrier, i don't know which stage syphilis i have and why is it taking so long to get treated. and how long it should take more. Why my wife is not infected (which is good), is it because i am not contagious any more? Can i have sex with my wife without condom now?

Sometimes, treatment against syphilis takes a long time. It all depends on the stage of the infection, and how the bacteria are spread along the body.

You shouldn't retake your normal sexual activity with your wife until receiving a final negative result.

Syphilis is also spread through sharing needles, so try not to share with your wife any kind of object than contain traces of your blood.

All the best.
