Syphilis symptoms 7 months after unprotected oral encounter?

Is is possible to have primary syphilis symptoms 7 months after the encounter?

I received unprotected oral from a guy back in may. 2 days ago I noticed some sort of sore on the underside of my penis. I was worried it was a chancre, but whatever it is on my dick doesn't fit with the characteristics of a syphilis chancre.

For one, it stings like hell whenever it is touched or fabric brushes up against it and it isn't raised, or oozing any nasty ****. I might of chaffed some skin whilst jackin it, or some other skin injury.

It was a little bit raw when I first noticed it, but as small cuts do, it has scabbed over and now it just looks like a tiny healing cut.

Is it even possible for me to have syphilis 7 months after the encounter? I thought if I did have it, the majority of symptoms would of come and gone by now.

Also I read that syphilis chancres last for about 3-6 weeks, but whatever it is I have, already looks pretty much healed in about 3 days.

Any insight would be helpful!
