Bad to worse?!?

Dear Doctor,
I am in a difficult situation I need help with.

I am in a long term relationship and due to a decision of idiocy I engaged in unprotected oral sex and protected intercourse with a sex worker.

2 days after the event I experienced minor itching on my penis head and around the urethra, a frequency to urinate as well as a dull ache in my testicles and pain in my groin (like muscle ache). It was so minor I did not register it and thought of it no further even though it occurred sporadically over the next week.

Exactly 14 days later I engaged in unprotected intercourse with my partner. Afterwards the itching became more pronounced and I had a slight tingle when urinating.

The very next day (day 15) I went to a private clinic and was tested for STD's (blood, urine and swab). The doctor put my irritation down to NSU and gave me a single dose of antibiotics. He assured me I had nothing to worry about.

One day after I got the results - all negative and I had to wait a further 5 days for Herpes test. He assured me again I had nothing to worry about.

The next day (day 16) I had unprotected sex with my partner and the itching became more pronounced.

On Day 17 I noticed more itching and tiny spots on and around my penis head of different shapes and size. The spots did not hurt but the skin around my urethra was a little red (maybe this was due to me prodding around).

Day 18 - I went to my GP who diagnosed me with thrush and gave me a cream to fix it. I continued to use the cream for the next few days.

Day 20: I received negative test results for Herpes. But the private doctor said that I had a small amount of bacteria in my urine. I told him about the thrush and he said that was likely the cause and nothing to worry about.

Day 21: In the evening I noticed a small patch of spots on my shaft.

Day 22: I went to an NHS Gum clinic and was diagnosed with genital warts. He froze them and gave me cream to use for two weeks. He also swabbed the warts for Herpes and tested again for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea (the NHS doctor was unaware i attended the private clinic).
I am still awaiting these results.

Day 28: I have been using the warticon and thrush creams and now my penis is a mess. I have wrinkles, scars, red bits and still have the small spots from the thrush. I still have a frequent urge to urinate and a slight tingle in my urethra.

My questions are:

1: Even though I tested negative for Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia what are the chances of it being a false negative.

2: I am worried that my NSU may have infected my partner during our two bouts of unprotected intercourse. Do I have cause to be as I have read that non-chlamydia NSU is not dangerous?
(She is aware of my warts and thrush but believes that I caught the thrush from her and the warts were latent as I was quite a warty child)

3: Should I be worried about Herpes?

4: Are there any other STI's or conditions that I should be worried about, or anything else I may be missing that you could help me with?

Obviously, I am totally distraught and I would like to get through this stupid situation and carry on with my normal life.

Thank you in advance.

As far as I am  aware she has not had her gardasil shots. Is this something we should both do?

this is not the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.

you had protected sex so the odds that you contracted chlamydia or gonorrhea from that or from unprotected oral are very low.  nsu from oral sex is fairly common though. the "normal" bacteria in the mouth aren't always so normal in the urogenital tract.

your syphilis, herpes blood testing and hiv testing were all done too early.

at this point you have a lot going on in your genital area. continue to follow up weekly as needed with your providers to try to get to the bottom of it all. jock itch is very irritating ( and rashy ) as well as the wart treatments are very irritating too.

genital warts are not something you got as a "warty child" that is showing up now.  Not a bad idea to consider owning up to what happened so that your partner can protect herself too.  has she had her gardasil shots?
