This can't be right....

Hello everyone!
I'd like to start off by saying that I"m a 16 year old virgin. Never had sexual contact of any kind (not even kissing).
So a few weeks ago I noticed what I thought was a cyst on the left side of the shaft of my penis. The size of said cyst increased when my penis was erect. Anyways, yesterday, when I woke up, the cyst (which used to be under the skin and colorless) turned into what looked like a pimple (red colored with a small white head). The size of it also seemed to increase slightly. What really got me worried was when I started having a sore throat yesterday night at around 12:00-1:00 am. When I woke, up I had a full-blown scratchy throat (could be a coincidence, or may not). The "pimple" on my penis also increased in size some more and turned purple. It didn't hurt on its own, but it did when I tried to squeeze it. Anyways, today, at around noon, the pimple burst open and blood mixed with puss came out (could have burst due to friction with my underwear). The boil deflated significantly after that and now looks like a small abscess (around 1 mm of open skin and the who thing being 3 mm diameter in total). Even now, the sore does not hurt at all. I tried to squeeze it and I discovered that there is a significant portion of the boil/pimple/cyst/whatever under the skin. So my question is, could I have somehow gotten an STD without sexual contact of any kind!?

That would be a cyst if it is oozing out some sort of a oil thing. It is rather painful if irritated by intentional infliction such as scratching or puncturing. Well, the sore throat can be brought on by many things: allergies, cold, dust particles, etc.

Okay thanks for the responses but any idea what this could be? The open blister is starting to ooze this oil thing very slowly (still no pain though). Are burst pimples or cysts supposed to do that? And I can't think of any other rationale for my sore throat except maybe it's a cold or something. Uggh this thing is really messing me up...

Clearly, you are anxiety ridden. Think back on what you did before this sore throat even occurred. The pimple on your penis or big bump can be another thing but if it were herpes, you would probably be in a world of excruciating pain right now. Herpes blisters rupture on their own, creating painful sores in the process. Herpes blisters come in crops or groups, not just one, especially if you never experienced herpes before. Herpes infection only occurs in the area in which the herpes sore came into contact with. Even then, it would take a while before you would begin to experience herpes symptoms. Self inoculation is possible but only if you had herpes to begin with. This is not herpes.

Yes but the sore throat is what's really making me worried since that's usually a sign of infection. The fact that the sore throat coincides perfect with the development of my pimple thing just seems like too much of a coincidence... I also heard that its possible to get herpes without actually having sex but shaking hands with someone who has touched an open herpes sore and then touching your own penis. Just wanted to know if this is true or not and if so, what are the chances of this actually happening... Oh and please give a rationale for the sore throat/pimple thing combination. Really getting paranoid; I have an exam next week and I'm finding that I can't study properly because I'm afraid that I have herpes... :( Please help...

This is not a std of any kind. If you never had sexual exposures before in your life, then, this cannot possibly be a std related problem. You may need to seek out a dermatologist or a physician for more info about what you are going through.
