Unprotected sex after Syphilis treatment

I'm not sure if my question went through or not so I'll try again just in case. January 17th I received one shot of penicillin because I tested positive for syphilis (1:64). I didn't have any sex up until an exact month later when I engaged in unprotected sex. My partner was fully aware and rather accepting of my treatment but just to be on the safe side he got tested about a week and half after. He always received a shot of penicillin but his doctor told him that it was unlikely that I infected him with anything because treatment works 24 hours later. I'm still very worried and can't sleep stressing about this situation. April 4th is my retest. At what titer level can I officially say I'm std free & have no worry of infecting my partner?

I noticed brown spots on my hands and at first I thought it was just a dermatology issue until I went to the doctors and they asked to see my feet where I realized I had sores there too .

Syphilis is transmitted from direct contact with the canker, so if you don't have that they you are not going to infect someone. Yes medication does start to work very quickly.

Once as you have a drop in the tier# then it shows you have been cured. You may test positive for years but as long as the number drops it shows that treatment worked.
