We never tested for it in ours, either. If either of you are symptomatic, you should consider treating it.

I will again restate our knowledge or ureaplasma. It is not considered to be an STD as it can be cultured in normal asexual adults. It`s role is still uncertain. I am not sure why your GYN tested for it, but since you tested positive you and your partner may consider therapy. This is confusing I know. We don`t test or treat for it in our clinic. Take care
The real question is why would you not treat it? It's a foreign bacteria to the body, the body is going to try to fight it off. But often needs help in doing so. It is more about overall health then fertility.
