Did they ever treat you with antibiotics? Yes the syphilis tests are accurate since you have had both the RPR and VDRL tests. But I hope they gave you a shot of Peniillin back when you had the chancre. Yes other STD's can cause a chacre one is  a bacteria called Haemophilus ducreyi. The chancre is soft not hard. The treatment would be different from that of syphillis. So, your main symptom is pain in the area where the chancre has healed? Do you have any other symptoms now?

Usually a Syphillus chancre comes out once and goes away, it doesn't come back even if you still have it. It sounds more like an infection. If it gets pus again you may want to see your doctor about it.

there was just a scar that was left behind after the orginal sore healed up after few weeks  ..... some days back i witnessed a small bump coming up again on the orginal site where the sore had healed up ..... i have had no other sores any where in my gential area ..... just a few red spots on the inner skin of my penis , and on its head , which i assume to be Balanitis ...... because i got tested for herpes 1 and 2  igg and igm antibodies test ..... both came negative ......

Oh ok. Since you were negative I wouldn't worry about it. But, do you still have and other symptoms? It sounds like you had pain in the area. Perhaps the original sore was an infection since there was blood and pus and it is still sore after that. At this point if you don't have any other symptoms I wouldn't worry about it. Since you were negative for the Syphillis tests don't worry about getting a  penicillin shot.

odds are your sore was not syphilis at all. it doesn't sound at all like it.

if you tested negative for syphilis, no reason to keep worrying about it either.

6 weeks after exposure is when a test is conculsive. I see no reason to be concerned.
