Vaginal sore

Ok. Well a week and a half ago I had a long rough sexual episode. Approx 4-5 hours. Afterwards I was extremely sore and swollen and I could feel the irritation right away. The next day it hurt when I would pee and everything. I opened my vagina and could see the extreme redness ect. It cont to be sore ever since. Then yesterday I opened my vagina up to look inside to see why it still hurt. And I noticed a canker sore looking thing deep inside to the right. The same area as the original red irritation. I just had my annual exam a month ago and everything was fine. It it possible that I had a cut inside and it turned into a sore.. Similar to when you bite inside your mouth and get one. I

you still probably have never been tested for herpes by your gyn. same as your partner probably hasn't either. it's not a part of routine std testing and it isn't tested for with pap testing.

be seen so you have better answers :)

The thing that throws me off is it not on the outside anywhere.. I literally have to open myself up and it's deep inside.. And I had to use a mirror to see it...

Is herpes really the only thing it could be?

odds are you and your partner have never been tested for herpes before.

be seen today or tomorrow and get a proper exam. if they suspect herpes, they can do a lesion culture and typing for starters.

is this a regular partner? was it protected sex?
