What is that swelling?

Dear Doctor, Hi !

I am suffering from urethritis (no organism seen on Urine Culture report) but still taking treatment for NGU. Initially i has a urethral discharge but it setteled in about 4 days but for the last one week i have developed a very tiny swelling on under side of urethral meatal lips. There is a discharge of slimy liquid (like pre-***) from a separate opening especially on erection (sexual arousal). A doctor told me that there is some normal "Morgagni Follicle" in that area which has got swollen / infected.

I desperately need your opinion on this. Is this treatable? What should i do to get rid of it? Am i at risk of some major disease?

Awaiting Anxiously,
Thanks,

The minute swelling (less than a mm) is just adjacently below the meatal opening. its not painful with no ***** discharge. the pre-ejaculatory fluid tends to ooze out as a very small droplet on maximum erection. i wonder if its a variation of normal anatomy. am a getting paranoid?

What separate opening are you talking about?

There is something called the hydatid of Morgagni in the testicle, and I'm wondering if that got infected, and that's what your doc means.

If you are on antibiotics, I'm guessing your doc thinks that antibiotic will cure that.

I don't think its indicative of any major diseases, but why not call your doc back and ask these questions?  That's what you pay him for.
