Is it possible for Chlamydia Pneumoniae to advance into Chlamydia Trachomatis?

I have read this article which states Chlamydia Pneumoniae can be transmitted to the genital area through oral sex where it then advances to Chlamydia Trachomatis (www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/102418). I have not found any other sources about this being able to happen. Is it possible for the disease C. Pneumoniae to progress to C. Trachomatis through oral sex?

Since it is isolated in an area, it will not 'advance'

They r different species. It also depends on what infection u have. A course of antibiotic will cure it, no need to get so worked up over it.
