About 3 weeks ago my girlfriend developed a blister in her pubic region. She had just shaved a few days before. It looked almost like a boil, she said it sat right where he thigh would rub it. It popped and healed (it didnt scab). Then about 1 week later I had slight irritaition around the tip of my penis, and even a little pain when urinating. I never got a pimple or boil or blister or anything. I went straight from irritation of the tip of my penis, to testical pain. It isnt bad pain, subtle most of the time and every once in a while it gets to a medium pain. It is never both sides at the same time. I got treated with doxy which didnt do much, and now I am on Cipro. The pain is still here though. This coudlnt be herpes could it? We have been only with eachtother, and their is no hisotry in our family except for the cold sore type, which we have taken part in oral sex before. Any suggestions? Should I wait out the Cipro?, my doctor thought it was prostate related. Me and my girlfriend also like to play in the anal area, but not anal sex, so I was also wondering if that could have anything to do with it?
Oh wait. I assumed you meant you were virgins. Let's rephrase that last comment to say that if you are both virgins only intimate with each other. Sorry if i presumed incorrectly. But it still sounds like she had an ingrown hair or something else not std related.
Lets see. Both virgins. Only intimate with each other. No confirmed cold sores with either of you so most likely no hsv1. Logical conclusion......THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY EITHER OF YOUR AILMENTS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH AN STD.
I forgot also to state we never have even had sex, we stick to body rubbing and what not? Also I have never had a cole sore to my knowledge, my dad gets them though. I just worry about herpes due to the fact the other drugs have done very little and the given circumstances of her "boil" and what not. There would be very very minimal penis to vagina contact. Thanks!
Well, it is thought that a lot of genital herpes cases are transferred orally from hsv1. It would be much milder than hsv2. But in her case it could have been irritation from shaving or an ingrown hair. You both need to ask for herpes igg specific testing. If you both were virgins and have never hooked up with anyone else, there is no risk for any other std.
