Worried about possible pharyngeal herpes

Dear Doctor,

I really appreciate this opportunity to post a question of mine. This problem has made my life uneasy. I have a recurrent ulcer on the left side of my palatopharyngeal arch since about 3 years ago. I am a 31 years old female, I gave an unprotected oral sex to a man in december 2013. Three days after I the blowjob, I started to develop malaise(pain and tiredness all over my body) and sore in my throat. I did multiple times of pharyngeal swab and culture  3 and 9 months after the alleged infection, all came out to be non-specific mouth flora (thats what the ENT told me regarding the swab result). The ENT prescribe several antibiotics, but it never helps.
Finally, I had tonsylectomi on both of my tonsils performed by a registered ENT at local hospital. GERD has already been eliminated by the ENT, as she alreaady prescribed me with proton pump inhibitors, and it did nothing for my improvement. The hystophatology result of both tonsyl reveal chronic infection of both tonsyls by Streptococcus, and nothing more. The symptoms subside (like only 50%) after both tonsyl being removed, but the sore, burning, dry feeling that appears on the left side of my palatopharyngel arch has always come back again whenever I am in an emotional stress or if I had not enough sleep at night. The symptoms is always accompanied by a low grade fever. I am still experiencing this problem, that it prevents me from doing my everyday task.

I have done several blood test to find out what is the culprit of these symptoms. I did all STD testing that I knew of. I had HIV Viral Load testing(PCR DNA testing) 2 months after the alleged infection, it came out negative. I had anti HIV (ELISA) antibody testing which was performed 6 months and 12 months after the alleged infection, they both came out NON - REACTIVE. I had VDRL testing 24 months after the alleged infection, it also came out NON-REACTIVE.  HBsAg testing came out negative, Anti HBcIgM testing came out non reactive, and HCV antibody test also came out non-reactive.
I never had any cold sore on my vermilion border in my life, even after the alleged infection. I had HSV-2 antibody testing, it also came out NON-REACTIVE. But I had not did a HSV-1 antibody testing.

To be specific, the pain has always appear on the left side of my palatopharyngeal arch. I discovered the specific area in troube by applying 36% polycresulen solution topicaly with the help of cotton swab. My question is ... is there any other test that I should perform to determine the possible cause of my recurrent "sore throat" on the left oropharyng (which happens everytime I feel stressed or lack of sleep) ? Should I consider any other STD testing aside from HSV-1 antibody testing ?

I never had any burning sensation nor any pain during urination. The Antibody HSV II testing was IgG instead of IgM (my consideration was, that by the time the HSV II testing was about to be done, 2 years has past since the alleged infection, so I guess the IgG testing would be a more sensitive testing).
