being involved

If a male was infected with crabs over 20 yrs ago used the shampoos to get rid of it is it possible for them to be in a relationship with someone and that person get crabs from them after all those years. Basically is it really gone or do they still have it and should that person involved with them be concerned.

I was just wondering before I become more involved with him. I'm just a cautious person.

you can get crabs repeatedly.

If he treated his crabs 20 years ago then they are gone. You wouldn't walk around with pubic lice for 20 years.
