STD? or infection

About 12 days ago, I had regrettably had sex (using a condom) with a prostitute.  Yesterday, my penis started to feel uncomfortable and now it feels irritated.  The tip seems colder and more sensitive than normal but it does not hurt to urinate.  I notice no discharge whatsoever.  My testicles are not painful.  Do you think this is gonorrhea or an STD?

A friend gave me Amoxicillin.  I am taking 1 tablet of Amoxicillin (500mg) every 12 hours starting today (but intend to continue for 7 days).

I don't know what it could be - irritation, dehydration, a prostate thing - I could go on, but you just need to get it checked.

I still think taking the amox is not a good idea.  Just saying.

Since I used a condom, what do you think this could be?

I did not have unprotected oral.  She did oral with a condom and then sex with a condom but I am concerned still since the tip of my penis now feels very uncomfortable.  I am hoping that it is just a bacterial infection that the Amoxicillin will treat.  During the sex though, she had her hand down there trying to hold the condom on.  At least once, it rode halfway down the shaft and she pushed it back up.

Did you have unprotected oral?  Since you used a condom, its very unlikely that you got an std, but if you had unprotected oral, you could have NGU or gonorrhea.

I'd advise you to stop the meds and go get tested.  Amox won't work for gonorrhea.
