refractory urethritis

I recently had unprotected sex and about 12 hours later developed urethral pain/itching and mucosal irritation(purple discoloration)
I took Azithromycin 2G, and then Flagyl 2G.
My symptoms persisted and I then took Doxycycline 100mg BID x 7 days, followed by Levaquin 400mg daily for 7 days.
All this was due to persistent symptoms.
I think I have treated GU, as well as NGU, but I still have the same symptoms after 3 weeks
Any ideas?

That's not a treatment for trich or GC, so its possible its one of those, which is why you need some testing.

I reasoned that I had treated myself for all the usual offenders
GC, chlamydia, trich, and ureaplasma, mycoplasma

Have you seen a doctor, or is this all self treatment?

You need to see a doctor if you haven't, and you need some testing done.  Guessing isn't going to do a thing.
