STD? Please help

last summer (june 08) i had unprotected sex with a girl i knew. i started having symptoms (clear discharge from penis irritated ureathra and itchy anus when i urintate the urine sometimes branches into 2 streams and some urine sits on the tip of my penis when im done and can ooze out a little more within the next few minutes this happens when i ejaculate as well) i went to see the doctor got tested and found out i had chlamydia. the doctor proscribed me 7 days of azithromycin took it correctly symptoms did not go away went back and was given 7 days of doxycycline the symptoms didnt go away. my doctor said i should see a urologist he gave me a urethral swab and proscribed me a weeks worth of cipro(2 a day for 1 week) the symptoms started to get better during the day but when it came time to take the medicine again they would start to come back. the test came back negative. i saw a free clinic at my college got tested again was proscribed zithromax(1 dose of two large pills) symptoms went away completely for about a week but came back. the std test for chlamydia gonorehha syphilis and HIV came back negative. i went back to the urologist told him this story and said that i was fine and gave me an anti-fungal creme for my itchy anus and said it was jock itch and said that i should not worry anymore. i used the creme and the itching goes away but comes back within a few days. with the itchy anus it itches and when i go to the bathroom there is sometimes very small amounts of blood on the toilet paper. the girl i had sex with was tested for everything including Herpes which came back negative and has been tested at least once since this incident happened in the summer and has been negative as well
my questions

1. i keep testing negative for everything, why do i still have these symptoms?
2. why could i have this itchy anus i have only had sex with women before every other person i have had sex with was protected.
3. what should i do i have had multiple doctors say that i am fine because of the test results
4. i originally thought that the itchy anus could be herpes but it never goes away everything that i have herd is that herpes sores comes and heals over the next few weeks my itchy anus is constant

i have had this for a better part of a year and am getting really worried the girl insists she is fine i swear im not imagining these symptoms but even the doctors say im fine and i dont know what to do now.

also if this is what it is are do you think there are any long term effects of having this since june of 2008?

thank you so much AJ im not trying to self diagnose myself, but i think that this could def be a real possibility after looking at some symptoms i have already spent hundreds of dollars on medical bills from this just to be told that i have anxiety problems which i have never had i am going to look into this with my doctor do you suggest i see the same urologist or try someone knew i think my urologist is a good doctor but he said that im fine when i was almost positive that i wasnt

can prostatis cause anal itching

if it is prostatitis could that have been caused by the chlamydia? i swear i had none of this before i had unprotected sex......i have such bad luck :-(

I'd wonder about prostatitis - have you had a prostate exam done?  You should.

You could also have hemorrhoids.

im sorry from writing so many comments but im trying to give you guys the clearest picture...... the urologist said that im overly anxious and that the discharge was like prostate fluid and that the anxiety was causing the symptoms and that there was nothing wrong with me can anxiety cause that? the cream for the itchy anus is a prescription called clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream

I believe it is also important to know that i had a friend who had sex with this girl as well several days after me he got chlamydia to and and was treated and says he is fine as well he was treated with zithomax as well

also i was not able to get a herpes test done as it was not offered where i had been tested i have taken numerous medications none of them have worked to remove the symptoms zithromax worked the best as the symptoms went away for about a week. i dont know if the anal irritation is herpes it does not sound like it but it itches and feels warm and irritated to the touch if anyone has some ideas please help

i forgot to mention i am a 20 year old male i have had sex with 3 different women in my lifetime the first 2 were protected and the 2nd was a good 5 months before i got the chlamydia i am sure i did not get anything from the first two.
