fear of syphilis and mycosis

Hello doctors,

I had sex with a boy (both vaginal and oral) more than one month ago. Earlier he told me that he's diagnosed with mycosis and syphilis. For the past week, I've visited three different hospitals for STD tests. The test results of mycosis, syphilis were both negative. For syphilis, I tested twice, the first with RPR -negative, the second with TRUST/TPPA - both negative.

In this case, do you think I need to do any treatments? I read a post from this forum that a boy with all negative results still got Penicillin G Benzathine to prevent any possible development of syphilis. Yet some of my research found the Penicillin only useful in treating but not preventing syphilis.

Before this boy, I had sex with 4 guys in about 2 months. Besides, my tests did show that I have bacterial vaginitis and cervicitis. I will avoid sex before my condition turns good and also have treatments on these, but I just wanted to provide you with this information in case it has anything to do with my issues above.

About what I should do now, I would like to hear your advices.

Also, before I was tested negative for these two diseases that he has been diagnosed of, I thought I must have been the cause of his diseases. But given the tests results I got, does that mean I am not the reason for that? Is it possible that he got the diseases earlier without knowing as no symptoms broke out and because our sex the diseases were sort of "activated"? I feel really confused and if you can help it'll be very helpful.

Thank you so much!

Hi, testing for syphilis would be at 6 weeks post exposure but any negative as you had is a good sign.
