freaking out...

I am in my late 20s and freaking out. Married for 4 years and after a recent separation made a really stupid mistake. Got pretty drunk and hooked up with a man who I'm pretty sure has been with many woman. I made him use a condom. Towards the end he removed it and went 4 times inside me and then pulled out to ejaculate on my stomach. I know he only went inside 4 little times but I also realize there's still a huge risk. Is hiv something I should worry about? I've been a wreck. First person besides my husband in 5 years. I asked this man if he's been tested and he's assured me he has but who knows. Freaking out. Please help!!!

Thanks AGAIN! Just got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia today. Going back early march for the rest. Many sleepless nights inbetween. My doc said a month after for HIV testing is accurate...hoping that's true?

it's still really low risk in general. all you can do is follow up on testing for peace of mind and should you get any symptoms before all your testing is done, be seen for an exam.

One more question...I just thought to myself (due to more worrying)...at one point things got a bit rough and after I had tore a little because of it. From him touching me 4 times would this tear double my risk at things? Still freaking out. Thanks.

You can cover your bases with proper std testing. You can get tested for gonorrhe and chlamydia anytime after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes and hiv after 3 months.  Should you get any obvious symptoms, be seen promptly for proper follow up.

the risk of a std from a one time encounter is low in general but covering your bases gives you the peace of mind you need to move past it.
