so i gave someone head the other day...and now my throat is really sore..and my lymph glands are really tender i tedn to go to extremes...are those signs of an std?

They might be. They can also be signs of a cold, or strep throat, etc.
You should see your doctor to get tested for strep and gonorrhea. Make sure to tell your doctor that you got this a few days after giving oral sex, or he won't know to test you for gonorrhea.
Its not a high chance that this is gonorrhea, but its high enough of one that you want to test to make sure.
