not many folks are allergic to acyclovir. see your provider - that's the best way to find out what is going on.  usually drug reactions wouldn't be limited to just the hands either.

but its the little tiny bumps that actually itch. would that change your answer or would that not be an std either?? is it maybe an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin or have u ever heard of anybody being allergic to the acyclovir??

STDs do not cause hands to itch.

i'm not sure but it has been limited to my hands a few around my elbows and a few on my underarm area.  had on the other underarm but those went away.  but my hands are still itching like crazy took a benydryl but all that did was make me sleepy and stopped taking the amoxicillin but its barely the first day that i stopped taking it. i will see how it is tomorrow. dont know what to put on my hands to stop the itching its crazy.!!

Are you sure this isn't an allergic reaction to the amoxycillin?  You should talk to your doctor right away.
