new on here, help, worried about syphilis

hi

I am a 28 year old male, asian, have been sexually active, normaly protected sex but have had unprotected sex on 4 occasions, 2 one night stands and 2 relationships.

i just went to the gui clinic as i was worried, they are testig me for syphilis and a few other stds, was told i will
be gven results in 2 and half weeks or so.
does it normally take that long to get a blood test done?

ok the reason why i had got this done is for the past 8 months nearly, i'm having alot of health problems;

I am constantly weak lethargic, balance problems, neck and back feel weak, feeling of anxiety and depression, also a eye specialist is investigating my eye problems even though i know all this is linked to one health issue im facing as it started  together slowly, im suffering from photophobia, eye pains, red watery eyes,i've been placed on anti inflamation eye drops and given antibiotics incase of conjunctvitis, which ive completed with no luck/cure will be visiting the specialist on tuesday, i've had these health problems for for 8 months on-going, and i am soo mentally exhausted, find it hard to concentrate

history

i have had unproteced sex a few times with different partners, want to focus on oe particular partner, 4 years ago i was dating a woman who was sleeping around behind my back, i had left her du to this was with her for 10months, i remember seeing 1 or 2 ulcers of some kind the side of my penis durig the end of the relationship, i did go doctors, im not sure if i was given cream, but they disappeared after 2 weeks or so,

i also had a rash which covered my torso and spread to my arms back and some of my face, this again disappeared after 2 weeks without treatment.

by looking at my history and what i am sufering at present would you say its syphilis that im suffering from?
if so, do my current symptoms indicate the latant stage? if so, people who reach the latent stage, can they be cured from th progression of this dasease? i do uderstand somtimes damage is ireversible, so the earliar treated the more you save. also the only real answers would come from the results.

i have been to the clinic and waiting for the results.
hope somone can give me some answers/help/support on here,

thanks

cheng

no it is not too late to treat if you do have it.

you need to follow up on symptoms wtih your provider. nothing else we can do at this point unless you get + test results you need help with.

my last question would be, symptoms that i have been goin on for 8months nearly all starting together, if i did have  syphilis would i be cured by antibiotics or is it too late?

(symptoms:
.eye inflamation and vision issues, (which is being investigated by specialist along with liver, negative for hep,b,c)
.body aches,weakness,lethargy
.gastritis, ulcer
.constant foggy brain,
.balancing problems and neck an back aches, basically i'm finding it hard to do anything because i feel soo weak and fragile.)

this could be many things beside syphilis.  good to test for it just in case but odds are it's something else going on.

thanks for the reply, my real concern is, if i have syphilis, it would mean im at the latant stage. it can affect any part of your boy, foir example my liver i have hepattis of uknown cause and its under investigation to, i heard this dasease can cause inflamation on orgas bones, im not sure of theres emergecy help fo this. because the est alone takes 2 weeks to get the result, so i this time anything coul go wrn or further damage, its a long wait thas whts making me anxious

many other things this can be besides syphilis. at this point nothing to do but to wait for test results and then continue to follow up on this with your provider for a proper diagnosis.
