Hi

Possible STDs for the burning are gonorrhea which causes GU; chalmydia or other bacterias that cause NGU.  You can start off by simplying testing for Gonorrhea/chlmydia rule those out.   Testing for each should be done as soon as possible if it's hurting him.

Swollen blood vessel in is penis has nothing to do with STDs.
