std question

Hi-
Me and my girlfriend had an unprotected threesome on june 5th. About 6 days later, with no pain or discomfort, i noticed a sore around the foreskin of my penis. we went to the clinic and got tested 6 weeks after having unprotected sex.  The results came back negative for everything. since then, after sex sometimes i get a scratch near where the sore was, there has never been a blister.  i showed the Dr. and he said it was irritation.  Another Dr. said it could be a yeast infection which my girlfriend gets quite often. i have not been treated for the yeast infection.  my question is can yeast infections cause sores and also is 6 weeks enough time? we both got tested and we have completely different immunity responses to illnesses like colds and flus,i.e. she has had a sinus infection for 3 months, i would hav itfor a week. i would think that if one of us had a serious std we would hav found out.  Any advice?

Your 6 week tests would be conclusive for most STD's and no reason to worry about anything else at this point. Can't really say what it could be, if concerned follow up with your Dr.

well testing for HSV you need to wait 4 months post encounter. and syphilis is 6-8 weeks.

Normal symptoms in men are itchy and flaking of the skin not a blist or sore.

It could have been an irritation but because you said it is reoccurring I would like think of a bacterial infection... you should see a dermatologist if the sore is still there. i would also recommend confirmed test for HSV and syphilis at the conclusive testing time.
