I was infected with gonorrhea around this time last year.
After being misdiagnosed by my doctor passing it off as a Urinary Tract Infection for a week
I went to the hospital for treatment as symptoms became unbearable
( burning when urinating, hard to start urinating and the double streams)
After three weeks of all the known cures, the Ceftriaxone Injection was the only cure that worked.
A month later tests proved I gonorrhea was gone.
However I still had an infection doctors at the hospital couldn't quite figure out,
Symptoms were, minor itching at the end of the penis and a clear discharge, not enough to leak just enough to see its presence.
After three months of sulfa-meth all symptoms we're gone.
Being off work from a major shoulder surgery, I drink alot, minimum of a 26er of rum or whiskey a week.
And I like my coffee. I understand caffeine , alcohol , and spicey foods, among other things can cause UTI's.
I also battled a stomach ulcer from 14-19. I am now 22, Ulcer is gone but still alot of acid.
And also have a family history of battling UTI's. English blood that likes to drink like the Irish.
Three weeks ago I had to support a family member in court and was under a lot of stress, I didn't eat anything so my stomach was working on pure acid, days like these it burns when I go to the bathroom number 1 and number 2.
At the end of the day when I went to the bathroom I noticed the clear fluid just showing its 'presence' at the tip/hole of my penis, passing it off as another UTI, I started taking cranberry pills (over recommended dosage) and the symptoms went away for the most part but would start to come back if i didn't properly hydrate myself that day.
Driving passed the clinic I decided to go in and they seem to think I have gonorrhea again, I am waiting on test results. They gave me 5 pills, suprax and something else, 4 small pink pills and 1 big white pills.
I remember the pills from last year and they didnt do anything this time either. (this was wed.)
It is now Friday and I see white 'semen like' discharge (like when I had gonorrhea).
Very Minor, and only when I really have to pee.
I was pretty certain it wasn't gonorrhea but now that I see the discharge the panic is kicking in.
What is happening?
Could the meds they gave me have pushed an infection through that was harbouring in my bladder or kidneys?
Has any body experienced or made notes of an infection commonly mistaken as a UTI with same symptoms?
Might I note I have NOT had sex, although the doctors seem to think I'm lying I'm not.
