Okay my apologies. thank you.
If you kissed her and she has oral herpes, you could have caught it. But very unlikely, especially since she didn't have an obvious outbreak.
This discussion has gone as far as it can. Do your best to believe and accept the reassurance I have tried to give. I won't have any more comments.
Howard, would I be at risk for type 1 hsv in my lips or mouth? Her mouth looked clean, and there were no bumps that I could see or anything like that. Thanks.
Hi Howard. Thanks for alleviating my worry and concern. God bless and keep us all on the right path.
The virus could be present. However, any risk is theoretical. It's probably not "impossible", but if it happens, it is exceedingly rare -- too rare to worry about. Nobody ever shows up in STD clinics with genital herpes if they only had hand-genital contact. Everybody has had unprotected intercourse (vaginal, rectal, or oral).
Hi Howard,
Thanks for alleviating my concern. I was wondering...does the herpes virus live in saliva? That's why I was feeling paranoid...thinking if the virus could be in the spit, and some gets in my urethra (or on my shaft if there were minor scrapes from abrasiveness of masturbation), I could catch it.
Is this impossible? Thanks for your help..
STDs aren't transmitted by hand-genital contact or by saliva. No risk (including herpes) and no need for testing.
she broke up in september 2013* testing she had done was after that.
