siphilis test

Hello,

I keep seeing both the window period for syohilis, 6 weeks and others 3 months, is it because there are 2 different tests? If so, what is the name of the test that detects it in 6 weeks?

Thanks

Should I test by  12 weeks to make sure? Any test in particular?  RPR OR TVHC?

So, if I test at 6 weeks negative and get the canker at say 8 , and test by then would it be positive.? Could I test negative at 6 and positive at 8 if the canker shows later?
