std symptoms?

ok i had an unprotected oral contact i received fellatio from a guy std status unknown, this happened in 11 of september the exposure was brief like 30 seconds tops... i prosided to take the following tests in the 3rd week. i took vdrl for siphilis hep c herpes 1and2.all where negative (big relief).. i had some groing pain going on but i had it also before the incident and i have it going on for some time now like one year or something. i went to some doctors and i had a ultrasound scan and they told me i was fine....and now it makes me anxious that maybe its clamidia or gonnorea ngu, i havent noticed any penile discharge or any pain durin urination so its just my left testicle that is a bit painfull but it has been for a while....(i attribute it in the numerous kicks in the groin that i have cought in training as i am a martial artist)... should i get tested also for ngu gonnorea and clamidia?

Hi again

The answers they gave you on HIV prevention forum are not different here.  Vance and Lizze Lou answered these questions.

should i get tested for hiv i dont know why but it got me scared.... i am circompsized and i ve heard the circompsized men are 60% less likely to get infected if contact the virus.... also my exposure was receiving fellatio and i understand that fellatio is a lower risk activity for hiv but somehow i cant stop worring about it should i get tested.... and if i should when should i and what test???

True,   you can not get chlamydia from oral sex and the risk is very low; the reason I said no risk was because the Drs HHH/EW here on medhelp have never seen a convincing case.  I don't think NICK_THE_GREEK will be the first one.
        Also I agree, i don't think you should re-test.

honestly I wouldn't even bother repeating your std testing. you've had this pain prior to this encounter so odds are it's not std related.

you can get chlamydia from oral sex but the risk is very low.

For unprotected oral :
No risk for chlamydia, no need to test for that
low risk for Gonorrhea, and NGU, herpes.

you aren't likely to contract a std from oral but you can. we don't recommend testing unless you have symptoms.  all of your testing was done far too early if it was done at the 3 week post encounter mark.

you've had this pain for awhile now. continue to follow up on it with your providers as needed.  if it was std related, you wouldn't have pain this long - even untreated bacterial std's eventually stop causing symptoms and none of them just cause groin pain.
