Cyst on penis

Hey all,

Thanks for taking time to read my question. So the past year or so I've been going nuts over believing I had genital warts. I finally gained the courage and went to a health clinic. They told me that the bump I had was a fatty cyst. He told me there was no way to remove it and that I should just learn to live with it. It isn't too big but since I've had it, I haven't had any sexual contact at all. I'm to scared about reactions to it. Has anyone had a similar experience and went through removal? Any ideas on how much it would cost? I don't have insurance which is a problem for me.

first off you shouldn't be squeezing this! A cyst isn't something you should be poking or prodding at since it won't do any good and can in fact, make things worse.

really nothing else to do at this point until you have seen a dermatologist. Call your local health department and see if they know of local dermatologists who are affordable and start saving up the money to go see one.

The problem is, I don't have insurance which is why it's kind of hard to go to a dermatologist. I'm just a college student so my options are basically limited to free or discounted health clinics. I'm pretty sure it's not an std because I've been tested for all the major ones already so I'm going to assume it's a cyst since if I squeeze it, a whitish liquid comes out.

Have you followed up on this for a 2nd opinion from a dermatologist?
