couple questions

In early December I received oral sex from a girl that I believe got around. I have a gf and I was overcome with guilt.  So the next week I tested for Gono/Chlay and it came back negative.  I thot I was gonna be able to move on but it continued to worry me.  It was 28 days past exposure when it just hit me that I'd had unprotected sex twice 3-4yrs ago and was never tested for HIV. So I tested and it was neg.  Still concerned, about 6-7wks after exposure I tested negative for Hep B and C.  Then just for reassurance I retested for HIV at the 3month mark, negative.  I never tested for syphillis or herpes, should I? I just read on here that the odds of syphillis were very low, and herpe tests can be inconclusive.  If I had HSV-1 (born with) can I get it genitally? Is HSV-2 passed from mouth to penis? Should I have shown some type of symptoms for either herpes or syphilis by now? (been about 5months)

Now, heres why my mind got back onto this whole thing.  A couple wks ago me and my gf had unprotected sex for the first time since my exposure.  She had a UTI about a week before.  At one point she complained that it was dry and kind of uncomfortable, I don't remember feeling it at the time.  Within the next couple of days I noticed 3 red bumps (2 were right next to each other and the other slightly more to the left, all near the penis head).  I also had  a prostate flare up (I've had prostatitis for 3yrs).  I went to Urgent Care and got put on Bactrim for 5days and Azrythromicin (2 tablets), the Dr. didn't really have an answer to what the bumps were.  He said to try an OTC creme but I can't remember what it was.  I've had inflamation on my penis before from dryness during sex, and still had a thing of Nystatin creme.  It says to discard by 4/1/09, about 3 weeks ago.  I've been using it for 4-5 days and its not going away. Do you think it is still to good? Does this sound like a fungi or bacteria or possibly herpes? I've pressed on them and didn't really feel pain, which I thought I would if it was herpes. Do you know what other cremes might work? The bactrim is taking care of the prostatitis symptoms, could having sex with her after a UTI caused it? It's usually not that bothersome but a couple days after that I had a tingling in my urethra and throbbing from the prostate.  I'm only 24 so the prostate issues are a concern, my urologist just seems to put me on antibiotics, which work, but I don't understand why I'm having this problem.

Thank you, sorry so many questions.

I had a good conversation with a Dermatologist friend of mine about acute Herpes. Bumps with pain = Herpes. Bumps without pain are something else. I know this sounds symplistic but its a general rule to go buy. Remeber Herpes is PAINFULL.

All Herpes questions please post in the herpes community, see the link above they will have the best info for you.
As for syphilis it is rare and not really worth worrying about. Yes you would have symptoms of it by now...a sore on your penis and possibly a rash on your feet and/or hands by now.
