unprotected sex with older woman

I'm in my mid 20s last night I had unprotected sex with a woman in her late 40s. She says she is going through a divorce and I'm the only guy she has had sex with since her ex husband. She assures me she was clean and her friend also told me I shouldn't worry. When would be the best time to get checked if I even need too? And does this sound like a low risk. Also she told me she works in a medical office. I just want someones input. Thank you.

These spots don't sound like too much cause for concern. I'd still just go and get tested as you said you were planning on doing.

Hi tony just one more thing to add today I noticed 3 red/ puplish spots underneath my urethra I have no obvious burning and they look like they are underneath the skin. Could this be a bruising of some kind? I remember her stroking my penis quite hard and the day after I masterbated twice because I couldn't get off the night before. What would you do if you were in my position? If you can please help me with more input it would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes this is low risk as most people don't have STDs and even if she did the risk of transmission from a one time encounter is also quite low. Couple that with the fact that STDs in women over 40 are quite rare and you'll start to realise that your chances of having acquired an infection are quite slim. But seen as she's a new partner then you're best to cover yourself and get tested if you feel the need to. You can get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and ngu any time after 1 week. Syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hepatitis and hiv after 3 months. Try not to worry about this and use protection next time.
