Post Chlamydia symptoms

Hi,

I'm male and I have been diagnosed with Chlamydia and was prescribed 10 days of Doxycycline.  I finished the course and I also had a one dose Azithromycin after that. I was tested negative after that for chlamydia. But I'm still having these problems after around 3 weeks finishing my medication:

1) I feel like I have to urinate more frequently than usual and persistence although empty
2) Some burn and itch in my penis after/while urination
3) There seems to be some urine "leakage" small lingering drops a few minutes after urinating. It also makes my underwear very smelly which is not normal!
4) Sometimes the urine leakage will leave a very, very small mark on my underwear like an ejaculate type substance although during the night I have no discharge since I don't pee.

I went to the doctor and he prescribed another 2g single dose of another antibiotic based on CDC 10. I have done few deep stick tests for infections and all were negative. It made me very worried and very paranoid. Is it normal to have such post chlamydia symptoms?

Doctor also referred me to a urologist. I'd rather skip the Urologist but I wanna get to my normal stage :( Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I got checked again for STD and I'm negative for chlemydia and gonerha. I'm suspicious about prostatitis or yeast infection. I have no idea though. I have an urologist appointment but in a week.

My symptoms are more and less this:
1- burning/itching after urination with no discharge
2- persistence specially after bowel movement. When I go to toilet for bowel, then the sensation will be much more after.
3- I feel I don't get rid of all my urine and there is a leakage of urine everytime after urination
4- odor change in urine and also in the skin around the area.
5- The number of time I have to go for bowel movement increased from 1 per day to 3 per day

It could be prostatitis which can take several weeks of antibiotics to clear up. You know it's not a std causing your symptoms at this point. Sometimes it just takes a bit for symptoms to go away completely after antibiotics too.

Be sure to avoid caffeine, spicy foods, and alcohol too as they can cause further irritation.

Well, only after my chlamydia treatment these signs appeared. I also started to have a slight pain in my  testicals and lower back. For a week I tried doing that (drinking water and fluids) but the symptoms are not going away. That's why I'm stressed and uncomfortable :(

none of this sounds std related.

be sure to drink plenty of water to keep your urinary system flushed.
