2 months after contact
i didnt use condom and had sex with someone i dont know. after taht i had UTI (urinary tract infection) i had high white blood cells.and treated with antibacterial tablet/capsule.and it is ok now. my question is am i infected with HIV? cause now i feel headache and coughing little bit of muscle pain but tolerable.please answer and thanks
you need to be following up on your anxiety with your provider.
the risk of hiv or any std from a one time encounter is very low. odds are your uti isn' tjust a uti but actually a std. uti's in otherwise healthy males are not common. follow up properly with testing when you have time to cover all your bases.

ok.thanks. but do u think im positive? its now 2 months since then.can it be treated im at work and cant go to doctor.2 months from now i can. i cant sleep now.please answer.thank you grace
you had unprotected sex so you should properly follow up with full std testing if you haven't already. you can get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea now if you didn' t wait at least 1 week post encounter to get tested for those already. You also can get tested for syphilis now too if you want. you need to wait 1 more month for herpes and hiv testing .
