Absolute Certainty

This one goes out to Grace or AuntieJess (No comments please Vance - only want answers with medical backgrounds- no offence intended!)

Had Herpes test at roughly 12 weeks (11.5 but who's counting)

Results: IgG Biokit type specific

HSV 1: 0.114
HSV 2: 0.091

This follows negative tests at 6 weeks also using Biokit:

HSV 1: 0.13
HSV 2: 0.63

Any ideas as to validity of 11.5 week test: circa 95 %???

Vance,

Over 15 posts a day get answered on Herpes testing on this forum - dont get the hunch just because I asked for no input from you (it really wasnt meant to offend)... Its just I wanted (as I stated in opening gambit) the opinion of Grace or AJ... hence why its on here.

It doesn't matter what questions are answered here, I direct everyone to the HSV forum when I see a question on herpes because that is where it belongs.
I do not know anything about herpes, so I never answer herpes related questions.
I was directing you to the herpes board so you could get a timely answer.
AJ is not here until later tonight and Grace doesn't come over here much.

I'm confused.  You posted to Dr. Hook that you know this is conclusively negative, so why are you asking for verification here?

Typically, herpes questions do belong in the herpes forum, but Vance usually knows what my schedule is, and if he suggests you'll get a faster answer there, then you should listen.

If I know that Grace is not going to be online, I will just answer the herpes questions so that people get the info faster, and Grace will do the same for me.
