What was the outcome in the end?
Did you find out what it was?
Good luck with the testing, and let us know.
Thanks for the response. If it is genital warts its the cauliflower cluster I've read about on the internet. I have appt 2/4 to get tested although I understand that with men there aren't many tests available until after symptoms show, but am going to get tested for everything I can. I have been tested before. After I got divorced, but have't had sex with anyone since and everything was fine. I don't trust her completely and didn't notice it until this last time and put a stop to sex. My health is not something I joke around with and this is really bothering me. Anybody else have ideas of what this might be?
Respectfully,
j
Yes, her GYN should be able to identify this.
Even without treatment, warts typically don't linger for that long. Its also HUGE for a wart.
You can ask her to get copies of her std tests showing they are negative. Have YOU been tested before? You could have an std and not know it, too. Since you are on a kick to get her tested, the least you could do is get tested yourself.
It sounds as if you don't trust her. If you don't trust her, why are you sleeping with her? Have you continued to have sex with her after noticing this? If you have, you can't be all that bothered by it, really.

Thanks for the response. Let's say she's not too proactive in taking care of her regular exams and maybe she just let it go. Had a real bad break-up with her ex and hasn't been herself last 2 years.
I've had an ingrown hair before on my back and it looked nothing like this i.e. just a big pimple. I wasn't given any meds, but hers is right there on her anus and doctor just said be careful when you shave around there. Have you seen pictures of genital warts where they grow on top of each other? This looks a little like that/ I asked her several times if she was lying to me and she said she wouldn't do that (Lie or knowingly give me an STD) to me and would go get checked out.
It does sound a little weird, but I don't know what an ingrown hair around the anus looks like. Can her OBGYN test her for STDs and identify this? Just curious... what makes you think it is not a genital wart? Any ideas what it could be? Also, what proof can I get she is clean?
Sincerely,
j
Anybody else have input. Want as many opinions as I can get until she gets tested. Thanks.
An ingrown hair that has lasted a year and a half and he's given her no meds, etc?
Something about that isn't right, and I'm not saying she's lying. Perhaps she doesn't understand.
I doubt its a wart, though. If I were her, I'd get a second opinion.
Her gyn can give her copies of her test results, but won't sign some kind of document, I'd guess.
