Chances my Gen Warts will clear up?

Hi,

I am 19 years old and was just diagnosed with genital warts.  I have of course several questions, but my main question is, what are the chances I'll have this for the rest of my life?  I know your immune system is what clears the infection, and mine is not very strong.  But I'm working to build it up, eating very healthy and taking immune-boosting supplements.  How common is it that the infection never clears?  Also, if my body can clear the infection, will the warts then go away on their own?  or will they need treatment still?

Another question, my warts are in my pubic area, not quite my vagina.  I would really like to do whatever possible to prevent them from spreading down there!  If I were to touch one and then touch my vagina would that cause it to spread there (possibly)?

My partner does not have any visible warts but we are sure he has HPV because we don't always use condoms.  Will continuing sexual activity with him cause my efforts to fight this to be futile?

I am just doing whatever I can to make the best of this  :'(

Did you check out planned parenthood to see how much they would charge to remove them? Aldara is $$$ and takes too long to work if you ask me. I think most of us would prefer them to be gone in one day then to have to apply potentially irritating cream for weeks :(

They will go away - eventually- but chances are good they will get worse before they get better ( spread ).    Why not just get them removed and go from there?
