Chlamydia Treatment in conjunction with other antibiotics

Ok so, I recently was diagnosed with an infection of my tonsils and was perscribed augmentin 875-125 tablets for that. Then, my EX-girlfriend told me she had Chlamydia, and had contracted it while sleeping with another man, while we were together. If I have Chlamydia will the Augmentin treat it? I am going to get tested next week, as I do not have time this week, if I do test positive, should I be weary of taking any other Antibiotics in conjunction with the Augmentin?
