Confused and scared

9 weeks ago I engaged in a brief unprotected receptive oral(honestly less than 10 seconds) sexual act with a risky partner. The very next day I started to feel dull pain randomly in both of my testicles. I figured it was just anxiety because from reading questions posted on the expert board, no STDs can present themselves so quickly. This dull pain continued in my testicles and even started to cause similar dull pain in my pelvic region when I was driving or sitting down at work so I decided to see a doctor. I didn't mention the sexual contact to my doctor(foolish I know) and he didn't ask or seem very worried after I explained my symptoms and upon examination but decided I should go for an ultrasound just in case it was cancer or a hernia. The ultrasound came back clear and the pain actually subsided for a few days but then came back. I have good days and I have bad days over the past 9 weeks but I'm starting to get worried I caught some bacterial STD from my exposure months ago. I have no other symptoms(discharge, burning when urinating/ejaculating,fever). It seems like most bacterial infections stemming from receptive oral sex usually always causes some sort of discharge, but again not always thus my worries.

Has anyone had a similar experience and it turned out to be an STD or nothing at all? I've tried taking anti-inflammatory medicine, but that doesn't seem to help. By researching the forum, epipdidymitis may be the cause for my pain, but nothing showed up on the ultrasound. Maybe it normally doesn't? I plan on getting an STD test soon, just seeing if experts could weigh in on my situation beforehand. Thank you.

Epi, but that would not be a day after or even a week or two after.

Appreciate the response Vance. Just another quick question. When people who have contracted a bacterial STD and experience such testicular pain, is that from the STD itself or is it from the epipdidymitis which was caused by the STD? I guess what I'm asking is, does GON/CHL cause the testicular pain on their own or does the epipdidmyitis have to develop for such pain to arise?

Thanks again.
