Dark red veins on penis?

Had unprotected sex on Friday 2 March, I do suffer from anxiety (have since I was young) a bit and keep thinking I am seeing warts/herpes/chancres form on my penis...when actually nothing has. Today I woke up and just under the head of my penis the vein going up is a dark venous red color, and when i am fully erect it looks like the shape of a chancre...although it isn't. Could this be a sign of the chancre forming in the future?

I hope my description was clear. If not: the veins running up and down the shaft...two of them are darker red and together look like an oval shape, like a chancre. Although it most certainly isn't a chancre, just skin...could this be a portent of bad things to come? The 21 day 'anniversary' of my unprotected encounter is almost here, and 21 is the average time it takes for a chancre to appear according to webmd and other sources. I am freaking out.

Cheers all.

It would have nothing to do with a STD.
Use condoms.
If concerned see a Dr and have some testing done.

Would masturbation be a cause of this? Lots of googling shows me this, but a lot of the people have it on or near foreskin and I am circumcised, so..
