Discharge question; Gonorrhea?

What do people mean by discharge? Obviously I know it means that something is coming out of the penis, but it is like urine at all or is it thick and mucusy?

My exposure is that I recieved oral sex from a few men about a year ago at the gym. Since then I've started looking up possible signs and symptoms of STDs. After posting in the HIV forum, I realize that there really is no risk for HIV and from what I've read, Chlamydia is not very common either. I haven't noticed any open sores, other than what I thought was a swollen urethra, but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. I went to the doctor; he looked at it and said it was fine: "thats just the way it is." But I'm still worried.

I notice that after I urinate or ejaculate, there is some leftover fluid that does come out usually right away once I finish. I can't tell if this is a sign that I have "discharge" or not. Also, would symptoms of Gon. continue to occur this late after the exposures?

Bump means they want to bring their thread to the top of the list, so someone will answer it.  It means bumping it to the top.

You will see a lot of these today, because I wasn't able to log on last night, and people are panicking.

A suspicious discharge would be yellowish in color more like pus and probably have an unpleasant odour, the clear fluid that releases from a penis is normal .... if you squeeze the end of your penis and a thick fluid comes from it then you need to be checked out.

Hope this helps

I have seen this word "Bump" used on Forums what exactly does it mean it has me baffled to say the least !

Hi there -

Discharge can mean many things.  What you have doesn't sound like gonorrhea discharge, which is usually green and would be more constant.

The only thing you might check on is a prostate thing, but even then, your symptoms sound pretty normal.  I'm not a guy, but I've seen a few dribble spots on men's pants before.
