For practical purposes, no STDs are transmitted by open mouth (French) kissing. It could happen with syphilis, but almost never does. Oral herpes is a risk but is not considered an STD. None of the other STDs you might think of is transmitted by kissing, including gonorrhea, chlamydia, HSV2, HPV/warts, HIV, trichomonas, hepatitis, and so on.
What if the infected person has both oral herpes and HIV virus, can he/she transmit the HIV virus by french kissing?
Well herpes is listed as a STD, but other then that...none. Hepres is wide spread and about 60% of the population has it.
