Theres nothing unique as you cant get any std from a handjob. Maybe a false positive or even something is missing from his post fact wise.
yea how they check for NGU? i have this unknown discharge too, always come out negative for all the tests and the antibiotics make it go away while im on them then comes back 3-4 days later. NGU just a normal culture test?
How did they check you for NGU? What kind of test did they do?
Came back negative for gon. and Chlamydia. But I did get an infection of some kind of NGU for sure. Just makes me think if I had a girlfriend or wife and gave myself a hand job and ended up with NGU - that would be completely ******. She would think you cheated on her and vise versa. Do a search on NGU in this site and read some of the forums from the doctors. From what I'm reading, there are a wide variety of bacteria that can cause NGU. NGU just means you have urethritis (an infection in your urinary track) kind of like if you have a soar throat (infection in your throat) can be caused by a lot of different types of bugs. There isn't much known about NGU - in fact a new bacteria that has been causing NGU was just discovered 5 years ago. So I don't know what I had, but I'm glad the antibiotics worked. And in my opinion from personal experience, hand jobs can cause NGU, but it never happened when I did it to myself (maybe just because its cleaner environment).
Yea, keep us posted with the chlamydia results. One possibility is that the lube itself could have gone into the urethra and caused a reaction by your body, thus producing white blood cells to fight off the "foreign" intruder. Coming from a person like me, who actually caught gonorrhea from a hand-job which I describe above, I'm still skeptical that people can catch STDs from a simple hand-job if bodily fluids are not involved.
Have you had any other exposures/risks that could be the cause of an infection?
ok watever but try it and see what happens
Chlamydia is a type of NGU. They ruled out gon., then they took a urine sample, left for about 10 minutes to look under a microscope to see if there is any pus (bodies natural reaction to an infection). They saw an infection, and are assuming it was an NGU because they aren't certain what type of bacteria it was. I'm pending a test for Chlamydia (they test for this because Chlamydia is by far the leading type of NGU). To test for all the different types of NGU would just be to expensive on a national wide scale basis. The antibiotics I took cure almost all types of NGU, minus Trich. and maybe a few other rare types. That is just the way they do it if your diagnosed with NGU - its just not cost effective to determine the exact type of bug than to just give you a cure all remedy. I'm just wondering what this bug exactly is. Think of the situation; I know I was negative before "hand"; this was my only possible exposure. She was completely dressed - no possibility of exposure to vaginal secretions or saliva from oral sex. Then I end up with some sort of bacterial infection. If it was something on her hands or in the lube, it freaks me out a little bit. I'm just wondering what kind of NGU this could possibly be. I don't know all the different types of NGU, but I have read that there are types of NGU that are transmitted in a non-sexual way. I'm just wondering what types of NGU that could have possible given me this infection - or any other type of nonNGU bacteria that’s out there.
Were you diagnosed as having NGU? Did they do a urethral swab? Did they do a urine analysis? Or did they simply listen to your story and claim that you have an NGU after seeing a negative test for chlamydia/gonorrhea.
It's not common to get an STD via handjob unless there are vaginal secretions that are entering your urethra. Trust me, I got an STD this way, but my situation was unique. If you got a simple handjob, it would be difficult to get any STD.
I must say after taking the antibiotics (which work on bacteria jedispider), pain has subsided. But she was completely clothed the whole time - no possibility of vaginal secretions coming in contact with me. To my understanding, NGU is in a particular family of bacteria and is a way of saying its not gonorrhea but some other type of bacteria. I'm told that not all NGU bacterial types are STD's (such as being exposed to fecal matter). So I'm wondering if it's possible that I got this infection from something on her hands or in the lub.
um chlam and ghon arent viruses there bacteria and spread a little more easier than viruses since they are living
I disagree with jedi completely. Pretty much unless she fingered herself and rubs a fair amount of her fluid directly onto the tip of your penis, really concentrating on the hole...you more or less have nothing to worry about.
Chlam. and Ghon arnt sticky....they are viruses which have a short life outside the human body.
It is more likely one of your tests was not accurate.
well it can happen, infections are easier to get then viruses like hiv or herpes. Basically if u touched her and then touched your penis then u can get something ghonorrea and chlamydia are very sticky diseases.
