Is seven week reliable to Syphilis test?

I have questions. I had a situation with men: French kissing and through few minutes he put his fingers to my vagine and before it he spit out to my vagine. We were naked but we do not have sex because I do not want more.  I do not know him well. I done two test on syphilis (VDRL test). First after 5 weeks, - negative. Second on 49 days after (7 weeks).
Please let me know are these test are reliable? should I re -tested?

You did not have a syphilis risk and your test is conclusive that you don't have syphilis.
