Itching Scrotum and Bump

Hi

I do not know if this is an STD or not, but i am a bit worried as i´ve been reading up on syphilis and such, perhaps im just paranoid, here goes:

Currently my Scrotum is itching almost all the time. IT does NOT disturb me when i am sleep, but generally when im dressed and working (for example), and itchy itchy itchy.

Now i´ve come to part two, as i do not know if it is related, I have some sort of "raised bump" ontop of my penis. Sometimes it shows, sometimes not, when it shows its almost look the same as the skin, perhaps a bit blueish, and then disapeers, there is no regular time when it shows. I look up warts and heard there COULD BE some warts that are like that ,but generally it did not look like it.

Does these two symptoms help in any way?

Also, i have HAD "chancre" on my penis a long time ago. It disapeered and then, maybe one month ago two of them "came up" for maybe 2-3 days, and disapeered again (i guess chancre is the word weuse for it, it hurt now when i had it last). This is why i was worried about syphilis as i heard you suppose to have it, but not have, disapeer have etcvetera. So i dont know.

Any thought on this?

Anders

I do not think it is a JockI Itch as im very hyghenic. Also it is practically all the time, just that I can sleep without probelsm (and i heard that could be a problem for peopel having it).

If it is herpes,. Should i take something or does it not do any difference?

A sore that appears and disappears would make me tend to think herpes.  If you have the money, I'd suggest a HerpesSelect blood test.  If it's been >3 months since your last exposure, then the test would be pretty accurate.

The itching on your scrotum can be herpes, but then, it would come and go, and not be constant.  I would think that most likely it's jock itch.  I'd definitely try an over the counter cream there and see if that works.
