I've had Trich for 6 years, no medications working

I've had Trich std for 6 years, I was given medications from health care providers twice but I still have the symptoms, discharge, urine smells bad and I even had blood in my urine once. I have only tested positive 6 years ago, when my ex wife gave it to me. After that one time, I never tested positive although I have the symptoms. What is the long term effects and what can I do to finally get rid of this std? Will a penicillin shot get rid of it? I've taken nothing but pills in the past. Please help!

My ex husband gave that to me several years back. I had to take two (painful) round of Metronidazole. It cleared it up, but made me deathly sick.

If you have not tested positive then you do not have Trich anymore. I would follow up with your Dr and explore other possible infections.
