Need to understand?

Hello,
I've had 2 tiny warts for the past 6 months now. They are not located directly on my penis but more towards my the end where my pelvis starts. One of the warts has a hair growing out of it. I went to the doctors and he advised me to not touch them and also to not worry because they will go away. He said that the warts i have are flat head warts. I've done a lot of research on the internet and seem to believe that the information he told me was false. Is it possible to have just two warts that do not grow or multiply? I get HIV and Herpes tested every six months so i dont think its another type of infection or virus. Please give me positive feed back. I just want to know if it is possible to have flat head warts and not genital warts. Thanks.

Is there a planned parenthood where you live?  Or another std clinic?

There is no HPV test for men, so if this is genital warts, you wouldn't know you had it until you got symptoms, but I've never heard of another strain of HPV affecting the genital area.

If you feel like spending $15, you can post this question to the docs in the experts forum.  I don't know what else to add because it just doesn't seem to add up.  They might have something to say that I'm missing.

thats where i got the info from! I went to an std clinic! I am really lost because the doctor said he knew what genital warts were and said that i didn't have them! but how do you get flat head warts down there? Is it possible that my left side of my genitals itch because of the warts? its weird because its only my left side of my genitals that constantly itches? like i posted before i get tested every six months and i have always came out negative. I don't know i have so many questions and i get very little answers! Aj you seem like you r very smart and informative. Maybe you can answer some of my questions.

Thanks

I'd wonder about that as well.  If there is an std clinic near you, I would have them check it out.
